Conference Call

Conference Call lets you talk to up to four other people at once in a mobile conference call - and they can be on a mobile, a landline or even overseas numbers! 

Whether you need to talk to your staff around Fiji at once, or with a business associate in Australia, China, with Conference Call, it lets you get together, anytime or anywhere! No need to be tied in a meeting room with everyone!

Creating a Conference Call is easy, and its simple:

  • Only the person who starts the Conference Call can add people to the call - no one can 'join' a Conference Call without being invited.
  • You can add mobiles, landlines and International numbers to your Conference Call
  • Anyone can hang up and leave the Conference Call
  • If the person who starts the Conference Call hangs up, the Conference Call ends

To make or create a Conference Call, simply follow the steps below:

  • Make a call to the first person in the Conference Call
  • Once they've answerd, put them on hold (press Options on your Digicel mobile, select HOLD)
  • Press Options on your Digicel mobile, scroll down to NEW CALL
  • Select Call the next person in the conference, enter their mobile/landline number
  • Select JOIN to join the calls - all three of you can now talk at the same time
  • To add another person, put the Conference Call on HOLD
  • Call the next person
  • Join the calls together

Conferece Call can handle five person conferences, some mobiles can only handle three.

People can also call you to join in the Conference Call, if you've pre-arranged the time of the call. If the conference is already underway, they'll appear on your CALL WAITING. To add them to the conference, put the conference on hold, answer the new call and select JOIN from your on-screen menu.

To end the Conference Call, simply hang up. Everyone's calls will end immediately.

*Each outgoing call you make is charged at your standard plan rate. So if you call four people to add them to your Conference Call, you'll be paying for five calls simultaneously. Those who call in to the conference pay their own call.
