 Digicel announces Paralympics duo as new ambassadors

 Friday, 14^th January, 2011 Fiji: Digicel Fiji has today announced its sponsorship for the Fiji Paralympics team, which departs the country on Sunday for the World Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand.

 The Digicel Fiji Paralympics team will consist of athletes Iliesa Delana, Lusiana Rogoimuri along with official Sainiana Tukana.  Digicel’s sponsorship covers the team for the champs including air fares, training gear, uniforms and participation fees.

 Digicel has also announced that Delana and Rogoimuri are the latest Digicel ambassadors. The two will join schoolboy sprinter Banuve Tabakaucoro, swimmer Tieri Erasito and sevens star Nasoni Roko. This means the duo are now the face of Digicel.

 Digicel has in the past sponsored the Fiji Paralympics Games and this latest backing shows the company’s strong desire to assist the community. This is in line with the ‘Fiji Matters to Us’ campaign.
