Digicel signed a US$15,000 deal to sponsor the 2011 Annual Sugar Festival in Lautoka. The week long carnival will be celebrating its 50th year golden jubilee this July.

According to the organizers, the sponsorship is the biggest deal received in the last 49 years for the festival. The festival will be held from July 20-30 and 15 young women will be vying for the Miss Sugar Festival Crown.

Kamal Haer Head of Marketing presented the signed agreement to Bimlesh Chand, Chairman of the Sugar Festival Committee.
