Enhanced coverage now available in more locations

 

Tuesday, 04th May 2010, Fiji: Digicel Fiji is delighted to announce improved network coverage in Suva, Pacific Harbour, Nadi and Lautoka enhancing coverage both indoors and outdoors in these areas.

Digicel customers can now make and receive crystal clear calls while in these areas. There will also be increased call handling capacity in these local areas.

Matt Davey, CEO Digicel Fiji, said, “The installation of these sites show our commitment to providing the best national network coverage and to ensuring Digicel customers continue to take advantage of being with the bigger, better network. In addition to our aim of bringing mobile coverage to areas which previously did not have mobile coverage, we are also looking at strengthening our signals Fiji wide. This is part our continued improvement of services to Digicel Fiji customers.”

Areas of improved coverage include:

The Domain and Lami areas in Suva

Pacific Harbour area

Malolo and Narewa areas in Nadi

 Rifle Range, Kashmir and Banaras areas in Lautoka

Digicel will also continue to invest significantly to maintain and upgrade current sites to continuously improve coverage and ensure customers stay connected throughout Fiji on Digicel’s premier network.
